Park Place Dealerships Awarded Maserati Dealership to be Located on Bryant Irvin Road
The iconic Italian brand, Maserati, is making its way to Fort Worth and Park Place Dealerships announced it has been selected to represent the brand. Fort Worth Mayor Betsy Price joined Park Place representatives, city officials, local business leaders and area residents today to break ground on the multi- million dollar project at 5760 Bryant Irvin Road.
Park Place Maserati Fort Worth will feature a new 11,000-square-foot facility on more than six acres southwest of downtown Fort Worth and expects to open in Spring 2014. Good, Fulton & Farrell has been named the architectural firm and Turner Construction as the general contractor. This is the second Maserati dealership for Park Place, which opened a Dallas location in 2004.
“This is a terrific location near Mira Vista and just a short distance to our Merecedes-Benz dealership that we opened in 2005,” said Ken Schnitzer, chairman of Park Place Dealerships. “Fort Worth continues to have terrific growth and this is a great time to build a Maserati dealership with the expanded offerings the manufacturer is bringing to market including the new Ghibli which will arrive this fall.”
The dealership will feature a 7,800 square-foot showroom that can accommodate four new Maserati vehicles. The interior space will be furnished with a contemporary collection made by Cassina in Italy. Custom finishes will include beige Italian floor tiles accented by Espresso hardwood floors by Shaw for a warm elegance. Park Place Maserati will also house a private selection room for clients to personalize their vehicles to fit their individual style including exterior color choice, on-board electronics and interior options.
A 3,300 square foot service center staff with certified technicians with service stalls exclusively for Maserati vehicles. Clients who have their vehicles serviced at Park Place Maserati can expect technicians to use state-of-the-art equipment, complimentary loaner vehicles, genuine parts backed by a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, and complimentary deluxe car wash and vacuum with all service work.
In addition to the Maserati dealership, Park Place announced it also will build a new body shop at the same site with nearly 35,000 square feet. Park Place BodyWerks will be connected to the Maserati dealership and encompass 27 body tech stalls, two paint booths, an alignment rack, framing machine, mechanical stalls, and wash bays. A six vehicle covered service drive will be certified to service the world’s best-known luxury brands. Services to be offered by Park Place BodyWerks include collision repair and refinishing, custom paint, structure repair, custom body kits, paintless dent repair, and full detailing.
“We have enjoyed being a part of the Fort Worth community for the past eight years,” commented Neil Grossman, president of Park Place Motorcars and Maserati. “We are glad to be expanding our presence in Fort Worth and eager to bring another great brand to the market. The addition of Park Place Maserati and Park Place BodyWerks will create 30 new jobs in Fort Worth.”
Demand for the Maserati brand is expected to grow with the newly redesigned Quattroporte and as the manufacturer introduces the much-anticipated Ghibli. The Ghibli will have a sportier character compared to the larger Quattroporte, launched at the beginning of 2013. The Ghibli will be available with a choice of two engines: a 3.0-litre V6 putting out 390 horsepower; or a turbocharged, direct-injected 3.8 liter V-8 churning out 490 hp.
The Maserati Ghibli will also become the first Maserati production car in history to be powered by a diesel engine, with an available 3.0-litre V6 turbo-diesel. It is Maserati's first sedan in this segment and reflects the company's belief that a growing number of premium executive car buyers are looking to make an individual statement through a car that is distinctive, elegant and luxurious. The Maserati Ghibli will play a significant role in Maserati's growth plan to sell 50,000 cars per year.
Maserati is one of the world's most famous sports car brands. Founded in Bologna, Italy in 1914, the company's dedication to performance has led to a string of sporting achievements and a series of legendary road and sports cars. Today the Maserati trident marque continues to be a symbol of automotive innovation, engineering excellence and refined luxury.
This will be Park Place's second Maserati dealership for the Dallas, Fort Worth market. If you are interested in a new or used Maserati while our Ft Worth location is under construction, please contact Park Place Maserati Dallas to schedule a vehicle consultation.
