Park Place Dealerships' Search Marketing Efforts Recognized

The Dallas Fort Worth Interactive Marketing Association (DFWIMA) announced the winners of its 11th annual Excellence in Interactive Marketing Awards (EIMA) Show last night at the Dallas Museum of Art. The EIMA Awards Show recognized Dallas and Fort Worth companies and individuals who demonstrated thoughtful leadership, superior execution, and innovation in the field of interactive marketing in 2010. With the support of its organic search partner WrightIMC, Park Place Dealerships was a runner-up and one of three finalists in the Most Innovative Use of Search award category. "Being a finalist among such notable talent as Click-Here and Range Online Media is quite an honor," said Frank Sobyak, Director of Online Business Develompent. "Our real award, though, was our result - search traffic and sales up significantly over the past 12 months." WrightIMC worked with Park Place Dealerships to create a holistic search engine marketing campaign that aggressively worked to take advantage of the changing algorithm of the Google Search Engine. By foreseeing the rise of local search in the main search engine results, the WrightIMC and Park Place teams were able to aggressively implement a local search optimization plan and traditional organic search engine optimization plan. The results were nothing less than spectacular. Park Place Dealerships saw a 51% increase in traffic from search engines and, more importantly, a 60% increase in sales of new vehicles from online sources. The increase in sales was directly correlated to the increase in the both the quantity and quality of internet traffic directed to the site through the efforts of the WrightIMC and Park Place teams. With online marketing being such a strong component of the markeing mix, many companies are focusing on both organic and paid search tactics to connect with clients.
