Sprinter is the smart choice for your commercial transportation needs. Mercedes-Benz has always been known for producing superior passenger vehicles. What you may not know is that Mercedes-Benz is the world’s largest manufacturer of commercial vehicles. Their line of Sprinter vans serves as both a high quality and a practical option for business owners. The Sprinter is offered in five models (Cargo Van, Passenger Van, Crew Van, MiniBus and Cab Chassis), which allows businesses to choose the option that best suits their specific transportation needs. To date, more than one million Sprinter vans have been sold worldwide. Sprinter vans offer best-in-class payload capacity of up to 5,375 pounds, cargo capacity of up to 547 cubic feet, six-foot-tall rear and, in Cargo and Passenger Vans, side door openings and a standing height of six feet, four inches within the cargo area. At 19.9 inches, the Sprinter Cargo and Passenger Vans’ step-in height is the lowest in the industry. The Cargo Van offers three body lengths and two roof heights. Its tall and slim design makes it an ideal choice for delivery needs in the tight, cramped spaces of urban areas, spaces that a traditional delivery truck may not be able to navigate. This model even provides enough room to make your office mobile, so you can literally take your show on the road. An entire work crew can be transported to a jobsite with the Crew Van model, which seats five and allows ample space for cargo. The Crew Van features a three-place second-row seat, which allows for customized cargo space to transport tools and materials. In addition to moving cargo, the Sprinter is also an efficient choice to move people. The Passenger Van’s spacious interior provides comfortable seating for 12 adults with head restraints and three-point seatbelts for each seat. This model comes in two wheelbase lengths and two roof heights, and is ideal for shuttle bus service, limousine service, handicapped accessible transportation and luxury van service. The Passenger Van can transport your customers, clients and business associates in class without the feeling of riding in a big, clunky bus. Another transportation option is the MiniBus model. Similar in design to the Passenger Van, the MiniBus is larger and features four customized seating configurations. Versions for airport and hotel use feature seating for 15 passengers and space to carry luggage. The commuter shuttle version offers seating for 16 and optional video equipment. A paratransit model provides multiple wheelchair positions, eight regular seats and side or rear wheelchair lifts. Need a tow? Not a problem for the Sprinter Cab Chassis model. The light, steel unibody frame offers a best-in-class payload capacity of 6,269 pounds and a towing capacity of 5,000 pounds. The Cab Chassis is sturdy and dependable and can handle just about any job your business may need. The Cab Chassis’ flexible platform allows a variety of uses, from a tool and parts vehicle to an agricultural/farming flatbed, and can accommodate the installation of specialized cargo boxes such as motor homes, ambulance units, full kitchens, refrigerated compartments, etc. As opposed to a truck or a bus, the Sprinter offers an automatic transmission and operating cost efficiency. The Sprinter’s 3.0-liter V6 BlueTEC Clean Diesel engine is one of the cleanest in the world, and its tremendous fuel economy means less fill-ups and less maintenance costs for your bottom line. New tax incentives are also available to small business owners who choose to work smarter by putting a Sprinter on the road. Not only is the Sprinter a smart business choice financially, it’s also a smart choice in terms of vehicle technology and safety - all qualities you’ve come to expect from Mercedes-Benz. The Sprinter offers ADAPTIVE ESP stability and rollover control, antilock brakes (ABS), Acceleration Skid Control, Load Adaptive Control, electronic brakeforce distribution, brake assist, Rollover Mitigation and understeering control. Other safety features include standard multi-stage front airbags and optional side-curtain and torso airbags, self-adjusting headlights, an optional rearview camera and the Parktronic park assist technology. A load-securing lashing rail system and load-securing rings ensure your cargo arrives at its destination safely. Previously sold in the U.S. by Freightliner, another division of Daimler AG, Sprinter vans are now being offered for sale by Mercedes-Benz USA at select Mercedes-Benz dealers. The Sprinter can safely and efficiently transport cargo and people or handle whatever your specific commercial transportation needs may be. Mercedes-Benz has always been a smart choice for your passenger vehicle needs. Consider making a smart choice for your business transportation needs as well.
